A Life Less Ordinary
A change is as good as a rest. So why not learn how to do something new, something challenging, and see where it leads you?
We’re not talking about getting a new haircut or wardrobe: We’re going deeper – think of health and happiness; wish fulfillment; aspirations realized; and lives lived to the fullest – so much is possible, with just a little inspiration.
From flying lessons in a Cessna 172, to trapeze lessons or cooking classes, there are options to invigorate mind, body and soul. If planes and helicopters are too much to handle, sign up for the trapeze class – you’ll still be soaring above ground, only safely harnessed, and doing a couple of back flips while you’re at it.
If the sky is not your limit, why not try surfing lessons? Hop on board for private sessions from professional surfers. However, if the water proves too choppy, then try dancing lessons; surprising your partner, and brushing up your skills doing the tango, rumba, salsa, foxtrot and the waltz.
You could also look to make a life-style change. There are some excellent health and wellness programs on offer, where dedicated instructors reveal exercise techniques, and help you make improved food choices. On the other hand, if you’d like to make those choices yourself, sign up for cooking classes. From world cuisine like Thai, Indian, Chinese or French, to specialized lessons on making chocolates or brewing your own beer, you’re bound to find something tasty.
Want to try your hand at being a DJ? You can do it. Or you could take a 5-lesson guitar package. If you prefer crafts, there are knitting and crochet lessons, as well as glass blowing, pottery and woodcarving. And for the moments when you wish you could capture the perfect sunset, there are photography lessons.
