Dutch Country Helicopters
Take a discovery flight and take in the beauty and joys of flying.
Dutch Country Helicopters was established in 1986, on the grounds of Lancaster Regional Airport utilizing the Bell 47 helicopter. It is a familiar site in the Lancaster county skies. Pilots come from near and far to fly this great helicopter. We have trained numerous individuals in the art of flying over the years.
In 2002, Terry Inch purchased the company from the previous owner who thought retirement might be a good idea. As the company outgrew the hanger it had been occupying, the business was relocated to its present location at the beginning of runway 08. Students and instructors alike liked the Bell 47 so much; at that time, a Bell 47 was made a permanent part of the operation. The fleet continued to grow as did the number of individuals wanting to learn to fly. People from all over the United States and from countries like Germany, Ireland, and Great Britain have been trained and continue to be trained here at DCH.
