During this indulgent two hour tasting experience you'll learn culinary techniques whilst watching a live cooking demonstration, before enjoying a guided tasting of local wine or gin with a friendly member of the Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop team. Step into the studio kitchen for an immersive cooking demonstration where you’ll watch a chef work with seasonal produce from the farm. You will also delve into the history of the farm and its vineyards while enjoying a tasting of gin or wine, before finishing up the experience with a tasty local produce platter. As you relax with your tasty grazing board lunch on the veranda, enjoy the tranquillity and views of the dam and scenic olive grove.

This is the ultimate Maggie Beer's Farmshop experience where you will spend time enjoying everything that the Farmshop in the Barossa has to offer. Start your visit with a welcome drink of Maggie's non-alcoholic Sparkling range, followed by a guided demonstration including the history of the farm and Maggie Beer - held in the studio kitchen of 'The cook and the Chef'.
You will take part in our seasonal cooking demonstration using fresh produce and products from Maggie's exclusive range - and a chance to taste food that has been prepared during the session together. Spend time with friends and family, with the chance to have your photograph taken in the studio kitchen - and be part of this intimate, small group experience.
You will be provided with hints and tips to use Maggie's range at home, with easy to follow recipes. Our Farmshop team will host you in our tasting room for a guided experience of our Pheasant Farm Wines or Durand Distillery Gin.
Whilst visiting the Farmshop, enjoy an included grazing board lunch on the Dam, as well as a bottle of our Pheasant Farm Wine.
Minimum guest numbers do apply for a confirmed experience.

A minimum of four guests are required for a confirmed experience.
The demonstration will run for approximately 45 minutes, and the total experience will be approximately 2 hours.
Valid ID will be required.
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 8 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.

Maggie Beer and her family are still involved in the day to day running of the venue, where you can taste the fruits of all those years of developing delicious food & wine products. You can explore the full range of Maggie Beer products and items exclusive to the Farm Shop & Cafe, sit at the open windows with a coffee and cake, a glass of wine and cheeseboard, or enjoy some tapas in the afternoon; all while watching the native turtles and local birdlife in the adjoining lake.
