The Elderton Winery was established in 1975 as a family business and has been internationally praised since. The oldest vineyard on this site, however, dates back to 1894 and was originally planted by early German settlers. Visiting this site, you will learn about the restoration of this vineyard and the tireless work put in to ensure it's flourishing. You will then be invited to taste an elite range of wines in the private tasting room. You’ll discuss the unique flavours with a passionate member of the vineyard team, try range of delicious wine samples and a selection of local cheeses.

A unique and personalised tasting which offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a more in depth tasting with an exclusive look at the history and heritage of Elderton Wines. Visit the 120+ year old Command vineyard that the Ashmead family worked tirelessly to restore and save from destruction, taste many of the elite wines in our range alongside back vintage examples in our Private Tasting Room with a selection of locally crafted cheeses.
