Named after the sea turtles that you’ll see, your vessel Milbi offers amazing views of other marine life including dolphins, dugongs, stingrays and even sharks. Along the way you’ll also learn more about the Butchalla people, the historic custodians of this land, from your indigenous onboard guide. Once you arrive on an island, you’ll experience a traditional Aboriginal ‘Welcome to the Country’ ritual from your guide before having free time to snorkel, swim, or just relax on the white sandy beaches. Once you re-join the boat, you’ll experience more glorious views of tropical paradise islands, while enjoying a drink and snack, as you cruise gently home.

Dive deep into relaxation! Discover the Great Sandy Strait Marine Park with the Turtle Discovery tour aboard the Milbi. The vessel is a purpose built 12m glass-bottom boat. The journey gently takes you through the straits, offering opportunities to spot marine life such as resident turtles and dolphins, sea birds, and even the chance of encountering a reef shark or dugong.
The tour includes time spent on a remote scenic island, where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, playing beach cricket, or simply relaxing on the sandy beaches. The Milbi accommodates small groups, ensuring a personalised and friendly experience.

Is there a shop onboard?
Yes, we have various merchandise, soft drinks, tea/coffee, alcoholic beverages and snacks available. We accept cash on board only.
Is the boat stable and how many passengers do you carry?
Yes. The Milbi is a flat bottomed vessel making her very stable. The waters of the marine park are smooth and sheltered waters. The Milbi is surveyed for 38 passengers, however we only ever take a maximum of 28 passengers to create a comfortable setting during the experience.
Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, Fruits, Lunch, Snorkelling equipment, beach activities (beach cricket and colts) all provided.
It's important to note that, the team work with nature and conditions on the day. This means itineraries are changing with the weather and currents. Mother Nature changes things daily, so this relaxed tour goes with the flow. If Mother Nature is truly not playing well with us - the cruise may be rescheduled to ensure you have the best experience we can offer.
