Established in 1978, the Voyager Estate in Margaret River has a distinctive position which gives it a similar climate to the south of France. Renowned for their Chardonnay and Cabernet grape varieties, the Voyager Estate is passionate about sustainability and looking after the land. You’ll hear more about their winemaking philosophy and the individual characters of each wine as you take a relaxed guided tour around the vineyard and visit the private tasting room to sample some of Voyager’s most famous vintages, from Sauvignon Blanc Semillon to Cabernet Sauvignon. From there you’ll head to the Top 5 WA rated onsite restaurant for a lavish seven course lunch featuring delicious local produce such as line caught fish, rock lobster, aged duck, and abalone, with a series of expertly paired wines accompanying the meal.

Our Voyager Estate story begins with a love of the land, and an ongoing passion for sustainability. We invite you to join us in this relaxed, hands-on look at wine appreciation through the lens of our organic farming and winemaking approach.
Uncover the reasons Voyager believes great wine is made in the vineyard as the day starts with a guided walk through the vines. Learn about the different characteristics of grape varietals, grape growing and seasonal influence.
Then sit back in our private tasting room as you learn to unmask the language and characteristics of wine, including renowned Margaret River varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. You’ll also get to know the basics of food and wine matching.
Then move into our Top-5 WA Rated Restaurant for 7 course wine-paired lunch. Created by Head Chef, Santiago Fernandez and his team, each dish is inspired by the wines while celebrating pristine local produce. The 7-course Discovery menu is the signature menu, showcasing the best in food and wine pairing.

We will head out to the vineyard just after 10am. When you arrive, please let one of the Wine Room team know you're with Voyager Unearthed. We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring your camera or smart phone, as photos are welcome.
At the completion of the hosted part of the tour, you will enjoy our 7-course Discovery menu in our Restaurant. This is a set menu, so if you please advise us of any food allergies or dislikes.

Established in 1978, Voyager Estate is a second generation family-owned estate in Stevens Valley, Margaret River, Western Australia.
Our ultimate ambition couldn’t be simpler – to craft wines that do justice to our extraordinary climate and soils through some of the most pure, elegant and balanced Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignons in the world. We’re proud to have harvested our first Certified Organic grapes in 2020, with the rest of our vines rolling into Certified Organic over the next 3 years.
