Your 7-hour sailing excursion will start from the Saco Pier, Camp Ellis, Maine or Biddeford, where the friendly crew will pick you up. Once aboard, you’ll have the entire day to explore the beautiful Saco River and Saco Bay, where, if the winds are right, you can venture out to Richmond Island, Cape Porpoise or Kennebunkport. You are welcome to bring food and drink on board, including alcohol - perfect for celebrating any special occasion! Throughout your sail, you will experience a unique view of Maine, but you’ll also have the opportunity to see Saco River’s teaming wildlife, stop off at an uninhabited island and take your turn at the helm steering the boat.

Certainly the full day will allow for more enjoyment on the water. Consider getting off on an uninhabited island or seeing the beautiful Saco River.
Besides all the things there are to experience on the shorter duration tours, if the winds are right plan to explore Richmond Island to the north or Cape Porpoise and Kennebunkport to the south.
Suggested Packing List:
- Dress in Layers - windbreakers or a warmer layer is usually needed on the water, it can be pleasantly cool. After sunset, it can cool quickly, especially early in the season. We have lap blankets. Conditions at sea are normally similar to the beach except a bit cooler & windier.
- Sunscreen - sunhat, sunglasses & whatever other sun protection you require is always good.
- Soft-Soled Shoes are best for comfort and ease of walking around on the boat.
- Raincoat - can be useful, though most of the time we will work to avoid rain, and if need be, it is dry under the dodger & in the cabin.
- Drinks, Food & Snacks - we provide cold bottle water at no charge. We also offer 2 types of soda, 2 types of ice tea, 4 types of mixed drinks, 4 types of beer, 2 types of cider and 5 types of wine. We offer a lobster roll dinner. You are welcome to bring your own drinks, food & snacks of any sort. We have an on-board refrigerator to store your items you want to keep cool.
Children under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 12 need to wear lifejackets while aboard, which we can normally provide. Please let us know how many children are in your party and their weights when booking in the note section or contact us separately.
We our happy to assist passengers of all physical abilities get aboard. We can assist getting wheelchairs from the pier down onto the dock. There are two steps to get onto the boat from the pier. We can’t accommodate wheelchairs on the boat, however we can assist with a transfer into a seat on the boat. Folks that use canes and walker can certainly get on the boat.
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 8 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.
